Shawon
Moncrief
Shawon Moncrief is a graduate of New
Hampshire College now renamed Southern New Hampshire University.
He graduated with a degree in sports management. While attending
NHC he was a 3 year starter on the men’s basketball
team as well as team captain his senior year. After college
Shawon continued his basketball career in Europe and was elected
to the English all star team. Read

Terrell
Myers
Terrell Myers is a New Haven native
with over 15 years of Basketball Camp experience. Together
with Shawon Moncrief, they helped kick start Skills Camp in
2001. He is a Hillhouse High School graduate who has played
the game and learned from teachers at the highest level. Terrell
oversees the summer program and plays professionally abroad
in Spain during the winter. During his European Career is
has been selected to numerous All-Star teams and was the 1999
Player of The Year in England. |

LaWanda
Brown
LaWanda Brown is a Skills Camp staff member that has been with our programs from the very beginning in 2001. Her two sons, Aaron and Tyrell, are involved with all Skills Camp’s programs: AAU, After-School Camps, and Basketball Camps. LaWanda wears many hats and is a one of the reasons Skills Camp has been successful through the years. She has helped to organize parents and to raise money for the AAU teams. She is a teacher for the After-School Program at Troup Magnet Academy of Science. |
